Silver Yunnan White Tea

This mellow white tea is harvested from the first downy silver tips of the tea plant. Silver Yunnan has a light body and a smooth finish, with notes of honey and hay. This tea is sourced from Yunnan, China.

Cups Per Package

This white tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 1.5 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 35-40 cups of tea. Our 3 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 70-80 cups.

Ingredients

Chinese white tea (Origin: Yunnan Province). Contains no added flavorings.

Tasting Notes

Smooth and mellow, with notes of honey and hay.

How To Brew Silver Yunnan

Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until briskly steaming, not boiling (approximately 170 degrees). Steep for 2 to 3 minutes. This tea may be infused several times.

To brew Silver Yunnan, we recommend using a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These methods of tea preparation allow the tea leaves to fully expand while they steep, resulting in a more flavorful cup of tea.

Silver Yunnan Caffeine Content

Silver Yunnan is low in caffeine.
