China Keemun Black Tea
Grown in China's Anhui Province, our China Keemun has a slightly smoky flavor with toasty notes. This mellow Chinese black has a beautiful reddish amber color, medium body, and a hint of astringency.
Cups Per Package
This tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 3.5 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 40 cups of tea. Our 7 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 80 cups.
Ingredients
Black tea (Origin: Anhui Province, China)
Tasting Notes
Brisk, smoky, and toasty, with notes of tobacco and a dry finish.
How To Brew China Keemun Tea
Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water to boiling. Steep for 2 to 4 minutes. For best taste, do not over steep. These leaves can also handle a second or even third infusion.
To prepare China Keemun, we recommend using a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These preparation methods give the tea leaves room to expand as they steep, resulting in a richer and more flavorful cup. Avoid over-steeping China Keemun, since it can become bitter. This tea can be infused multiple times.
China Keemun Tea Caffeine Content
Black tea contains a moderate amount of caffeine, less than half as much as coffee per cup.
China Keemun Tea Benefits
Black tea boosts energy, helps with focus, and is a lower-caffeine alternative to coffee.
